How to choose the right juicer. - Dr. Connie Jeon
Juicing is a daily routine for my family and we’ve been juicing a long time.  It’s a great way to get all the phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes from the vegetables.   It’s an efficient “hack” to extract all the good from so much vegetables as I know I couldn’t possibly consume so much vegetables in a given day.
As a parent to a picky eater,  it also provides me with a peace of mind knowing that I got  more than the daily dose of vegetables that I KNOW he would not eat otherwise…..
So let’s review some juicing myths and various ways to juice….or blend…what the differences are….
There are really three ways you can juice… or blend.
  1. Blender:  Make smoothies….pulverize whole produce and make smoothies
  2. Masticating Juicer:  Slow juicing, extracts in slow speed nutrients from green leafy very well.
  3. Centrifugal:  Fast juicing, able to extract “quickly” with powerful centrifugal technology, however, produces some heat during the process so the thought is that you lose some essential nutrients during the extraction.  Great for juicing fruits….if you want to do vegetables, I recommend going with Masticating juicer.
Keep in mind, the masticated and centrifuged juice is good up to 72 hours in the refrigerator, you’ll need to shake or mix the juice prior to drinking.
I recommend drinking smoothies immediately upon blending, not keeping in the refrigerator.  It’s also important to keep in mind that fruit and vegetable pairing is important as some pairings oxidize faster.
I have all three kinds and did extensive research looking at price, quality, and value and I believe my choices are the best, but of course, you can make your own decision.

For the value you get, I advise the juicers and blender that I recommend, it’s worth the investment.
