As healthcare/health and wellness practitioners, our purpose is to serve our patients and clients. This can be through healing work, medicine, or whatever our profession entails. However, most of what we have learned in school encourages us to be health technicians. Just doing what we were taught to do, day in and day out, just because it's the way it's always been done. Instead, we should look deeper, figure out what our patients and clients REALLY need, and figure out if there's a better way to provide that to them. Rather than telling them what to do, we should elevate them to look inward and discover what they need.

Having no vision for the health you want to have is like a ship without a rudder. Just like when we go on a road trip, we need to know where we're are going before we can start the journey there. Start to think about what being healthy means to you. What are some things you would do if you had optimal health? What would your day to day life look like? How much would you weight? What would you eat? How would you feel each day when you wake up? What kind of thoughts would you have? How would you speak to yourself? In order to create this, we have to FEEL and THINK like the healthiest version of ourselves right now. If we don't shift our thoughts and feelings towards what we want to create, we will only create more of the same.

As health practitioners, we tend to busy ourselves with clinical training that may help us elevate our status or employability. But rarely are we ever challenged to think about our vision for our lives and career. We tend to avoid thinking about our true vision, perhaps because of the fear that arises due to the large gap between where we are and where we want to be. Or perhaps we think that there's no point. This couldn't be further from the truth. We are powerful creators of our destiny but we live every day giving our power away. It's time to stop leaking your personal power and stand for what you believe. Making generations of change in health and wellness requires YOU and your unique abilities! There’s no denying that life can be hard. There will always be things that go wrong. There will always be deadlines. There will always be bad days. And there will always be work to get done. While it may not always be sunny, every rain cloud has a silver lining 🌞 What you put out into the world comes back to you, so express gratitude and notice all the wonderful things around you. Strive for greatness. Stay grounded. Strive to be better than you were yesterday. Focus on the positive, not the negative. The next time you're feeling down, remember what you're working towards. Focus on that. Life can suck, but there's always lemonade to be made out of lemons. Life is about looking at the little things, the silly things that make you giggle, and then carrying those feelings with you as you go about your day. I want to remind you, don’t dismiss the inner voice telling you that what you’re doing day in and day out is ineffective at best. You know there’s so much more you can be doing. I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to know all the steps. You just have to trust and be courageous enough to stand for what you believe. Have enough courage to finally say, “You know what? I want to be part of the bigger change. I want to stand for something. And I want to make generations of changes to improve the healthcare system so that we can heal as many people as possible.” Let us inspire you to push past your comfort zone. Let us inspire you to have the courage to live more fully even when it means letting go of what is familiar. Let us inspire you to grow, learn, and become better with each day that passes by. We will inspire you to do the things you’ve always wanted to do but have been too afraid to try. We believe that everything is a learning experience. Feel the freedom from being able to let go of your fears, doubts, worries, and anxieties when you have us by your side. Mind your character, it becomes your destiny. Mindfulness can be as simple as taking a walk outside or just being present in the moment. Take a break, breathe deeply, and be mindful of everything you would normally miss. The greatest gift you can give yourself is an hour of mindful silence every day.
